In January of 2008 Raif Wolfe spent slightly more than two months in the Long Island, NY area where he was afforded many hours that he could dedicate to research and writing of the novel, "Subway Reaper". The concept was one he originally had approximately six months prior to his extended stay during a brainstorming session just outside Philadelphia.

What took ten minutes to come up with the premise and storyline for, took two months to compose and several additional months to work through before its release on Friday the 13th, February 13th, 2009.
